On August 1, our brave spellers stepped onto the stage at the Jerald Jude Spelling Bee. Competing against 58 participants from various schools in Naga City and Camarines Sur, our students showcased exceptional spelling skills, confidence, and determination.

We are so incredibly proud of our representatives: John Angelo Aldecoa – Quarter Finalist , Caithleen Jade Ogarte , Michelle Andrea Brusas and Rizza Mae Sape.

This competition is part of the prestigious Scripps National Spelling Bee—the most famous spelling stage in the United States. To even stand in that room and compete at that level is a huge achievement.

To our dear students: We know the results weren’t what you hoped for, and we know it hurts when you don’t bring home the win. But please know this: To us, you are already winners.

You had the courage to step out of your comfort zone. You studied hard, you faced your nerves, and you stood tall. Winning is a moment, but the bravery you showed stays with you forever. You didn’t just represent SNHS; you showed everyone that we have students who aren’t afraid of a challenge.

Our heartfelt thanks to sir Jerald Jude Campana, and the entire team for giving our students a chance to grow and dream bigger.

To our spellers: Hold your heads high. Your SNHS family is beaming with pride not because of a title, but because of you. Keep reading, keep learning, and never stop trying. Your journey is just beginning!
